Room hire

Lincon and Districts Community Care has a number of rooms in the Community Care building available for hire by Community and Health groups and by commercial and government organisations. Community Care Lincoln will supply cups, plates, cooking utensils and equipment, cutlery and dishwashing liquid. There is also boiling or chilled water, water jugs and glasses available.

Room hirers will supply their own tea, coffee, sugar, milk, juice and their own tea towels. Alternatively for an additional fee of $20.00 per session Community Care Lincoln will supply these.

We have internet banking, cash or Eftpos – customers are invoiced at the end of the month.

Rata Foundation Wing

The extension to our building, the Rata Foundation Wing, has been well utilised since the opening in June 2022.

The extra space has enabled more participants to join the Tuesday Friendship Club.
The SAYgo Exercise group has also moved into the Rata room and there is potential for the expansion of this group.

The Rata room is equipped with:

  • Large wall mounted TV screen with computer connections
  • Wired and wireless Internet access
  • Audio system with wireless microphone
  • Double-sided mobile whiteboard
  • Heat pump
  • Kitchenette with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, large urn, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, serving dishes etc.
  • Trestle tables, chairs, bench chairs

Base Charges:
for Community and Health groups (exclusive of GST) – $20.00 per hour
for Commercial and Government organizations (exclusive of GST) – $25.00 per hour

Lincoln Rotary Room

The large room (also known as the Lincoln Rotary room) is 9 x 4.6m. It can accommodate 16 people in meeting layout and 33 in lecture room layout.
It is equipped with:

  • A ceiling-mounted projector with computer connections in two corners
  • Electrically-operated 105″ (2.7m) screen
  • Wired and wireless Internet access
  • Audio system with wireless microphone
  • Double-sided mobile whiteboard
  • Heat pump
  • Kitchenette with stove, oven, fridge/freezer with chilled water, microwave, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery for 50, pots and pans, serving dishes etc.

Base Charges:
for Community and Health groups (exclusive of GST) – $15.00 per hour
for Commercial and Government organizations (exclusive of GST) – $20.00 per hour

Selwyn Room

The Selwyn Room is available on  certain days of the week.

Base Charges:
for Community and Health groups (exclusive of GST) – $10.00 per hour
for Commercial and Government organizations (exclusive of GST) – $15.00 per hour
